Don't waste your money on focal or diamond unless you are looking for bragging rights. The only other hi-res 6x9s ive found are Polk. I'm going to add a second pair to the rear deck. The built in x-overs are high quality and the surround is of high quality rubber. They have a plastic basket and seem like are made cheaply but are not, they are extremely light with the neodymium magnet. And have an electronic highpass x-over at 63hz 24db, they hit hard though. I have not pushed the low-ed as I'm running a separate 12" sub. If you find them for $119 GET THEM, you will not be disappointed.

These will fit in rear deck and door with no mod needed. Cone is paper-ish for more natural sound and the tweeter pivots. Pioneer is under rated (see budget gym or budget bust on YouTube (8604) which has same internals). I'm powering them with a Pioneer gm-d8704 hi-res amp.
